About us
We are an association devoted to preserving the folk customs, songs, dances and costumes of the Haná region.
Haná traditions on stage and in the village
We present the customs and traditions of Haná at many folklore festivals and events at home and abroad. Our repertoire consists of folk customs and dances covering the whole year in the life of the ordinary people of Haná – from the Shrovetide carnival through village feasts to the harvest festival.
The Olešnica Doloplazy Folklore Ensemble is also the long-standing organiser of the traditional folk festival the Ride of the Kings in Doloplazy, held every year on the first weekend of July, and of the Haná Ball in the Doloplazy community hall.

The association consists of the adult ensemble, the children’s Malá Olešnica and a Haná folk band.
